What advice would you give future brides?

Trust in your ability to plan your wedding. While wedding planners are fantastic and can certainly alleviate much of the stress, remember it’s your special day. Embrace every moment, even the planning! I opted to go without a planner and although I had moments of doubt, the satisfaction of seeing the results of my husband and I’s efforts was immeasurable. It added an emotional layer to the entire experience, witnessing the magic we’d crafted. In selecting suppliers, I took my time. I personally met with each one, ensuring that our vibes aligned. Once booked, I often turned to them for advice, because I valued and trusted their expertise. It’s crucial to collaborate with suppliers who truly grasp your vision.

If you were to choose one favorite supplier who would it be?

It has to be my makeup artists, yes, plural! I’m incredibly fortunate to have both my aunty, @annhassarati, and my sister/maid of honour, @jaimeamakeup, who are absolute bridal makeup experts. While Jaime graced my pre-wedding makeup, Aunty Ann took on the wedding day, with Jaime by her side assisting. Aunty Ann’s work was beyond words. Her incredible skill set and intuitive approach made me feel naturally radiant. Rather than overshadowing, she enhanced every feature, celebrating my unique beauty and ensuring I looked like the best version of myself. She possesses an uncanny ability to transform while maintaining authenticity, ensuring I still felt very much like myself, just elevated.

Their collective presence on my big day was unparalleled. Beyond their makeup skills, they played an instrumental role in ensuring the day was seamless and punctual, all the while keeping me free from stress. Their energy and positivity are the exact vibes one craves on their wedding morning. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude every time I reflect on it. I wholeheartedly recommend them both.
