What advice would you give future brides?

My advice would be to prioritise what matters most to you and your husband. It’s so easy to get caught up in the details that are not important to you. Often you are given advice from family and friends about what they think should be done, or see things on social media that you think should be added to make everyone else happy… but at the end of the day the only thing that matters is what would make you and your husband the happiest on your special day.

Secondly, it’s okay to ask for help. You don’t have to do everything alone (although you might feel you need to). Delegate and trust your family, bridal party and vendors to help with the small stuff. There’s no manual or rule book to follow, so just ask. Most importantly, enjoy the day. It may feel like everything is riding on this one day, but in the end it’s just about celebrating love. The love & commitment you and your husband are choosing to give each other for the rest of your lives. Take a deep breath, soak it all in and savour all the joyful moments. It goes quickly!

If you were to choose one favorite supplier who would it be?

I would have to say my florist and stylist, Melissah Mullen’s from The Flower Wonderer. From the moment we spoke on the phone - I knew she was special. Mel’s advice, guidance, warmth and radiant nature is something I’ll always be grateful for. She went above and beyond throughout out the whole process and ensured everything was perfect on my special day. I cannot recommend her enough.
